Subscription Not Recognized

If you encounter issues with your subscription not being recognized after changing devices or reinstalling the Podcast App, follow these steps:

  • iOS:

    1. Log in

    2. Go to the My Podcasts tab in the app.

    3. Click on your profile, which appears as a circle with your photo or name in the upper right corner.

    4. Click on "Restore Previous Purchase".

    This should help the app recognize your subscription.

  • Android:

    1. Check Your Google Account

      • Ensure you are signed in on the new device with the same Google Account used for the subscription. You can find the steps to verify your account here.

    2. Verify Google Account Configuration

      • If you have multiple Google Accounts on your phone, log out of all accounts and then log back in with the Google Account associated with your Podcast App subscription. This will help restore your purchases.

    3. Restore Purchase

      • Follow these instructions to restore your purchase in Google Play:

        • Close the Podcast App from the App Manager (may be called "Apps" on some devices).

        • Go to your device Settings.

        • Tap “Accounts” or "Passwords & accounts".

        • Select your Google account.

        • Make sure you’re using the correct account.

        • Synchronize the account.

        • Open the app.

      Your Premium subscription should be restored. If the app does not restore your paid content right away, restart the app and your device.
